Take a look at this blog on how an educator named Christopher Dawson is going to use Twitter in his classroom. http://education.zdnet.com/?p=1605 Make sure to read the TalkBacks at the bottom of the page. It shares other educators experiences of using Twitter in the classroom.
This is another website called NixTheNews: Daily News and Views for Twitter. See how twitter is integrated in the this news website.
How would you use Twitter in your website & why or why not?

Hi Ashley,
For me, I think I won’t use twitter in my website. Because we usually blog and mail keep in touch with the others, and we feel they are efficient and convinient, and the most important thing is that there is no words limitation on email and blog.
I’v read Christopher Dawson’s blog, thinking about using Twitter in the classroom, I think perhaps twitter is a good try. Students like change, and they usually have interests in new things. Twitter can arouse stuents’ curiosity and this would be helpful for their learning.

I agree with you Yan. I have tried to get into tweeting, but not many of my friends use it and I usually use emailing and blogging to communicate. It would be interesting to design an activity for instruction around using twitter.
